If you require more than 1 server, a Virtual e-DataCenter, or a customized solution then please send us an email with your needs. Armored Servers is not in the business of cookie-cutter style servers, we offer 100% customization. We can arrange Clustering, Load balancing, or Disaster Recovery/Replication environments for you at no extra charge for most solutions.

If you require more RAM or disk space, please just ask. Most likely we may add more RAM or disks at no extra charge, depending on the amount needed.

150$/month extra for a SUN Array with x6 36GB drives for a total of 216GB of space. This provides data redundancy, integrity, and speed.

100$/month extra for a SUN StorEdge D1000 with x12 9GB drives for a total of 108GB of space. This provides data redundancy, integrity, and speed due to RAID technology.

150$/month extra for a SUN StorEdge T3 Fiber Channel Array with x9 18GB drives for a total of 168GB of space. This provides fast I/O speed, data redundancy, integrity, and speed due to RAID technology.

1200$/month extra for a SUN StorEdge T3 Fiber Channel Array with x9 181GB drives for a total of 1689GB/1.6TB of space. This provides fast I/O speed, data redundancy, integrity, and speed due to RAID technology.

Redundant T1 Connection (For shared T1 use only)

This service allows another 'physical' Internet connection through another separate T1 line for your single server. Essentially, your server will have 2 unique T1 circuits connecting to it providing redundancy and larger bandwidth traffic. This includes all required hardware, and more IP addresses.

Security Level
Please select the level of security you wish to have on your dedicated server. The minimum level you can have is standard OS patches. The default [and recommended] level is "Level 2"

Level 1 - Latest OS Patches

Level 2 - Open ports and services lock down.
Plus Host-Based Intrusion Detection service.

Level 3 - SUID root removals and tighter permissions

Level 4 - Full Lockdown. Possibility of user restrictions

Firewall Configuration

Firewall rules. All Armored Servers servers are behind a firewall. Please select whether you want to use the recommended firewall settings, enter your customized open ports, or leave your system wide-open [not recommended]. If you are not sure... please leave this at the default recommended firewall setting. You can always change this later.

Backups
Armored Servers will backup your system on a daily basis. To backup your system, a backup user account is needed on your server with disk access. If you do not want this please select the following option. If you are unsure or if you have another solution then we will contact you if you select not to backup your system.

System Monitoring
Armored Servers will monitor your system. To do this, Armored Servers will install a Monitoring client software on your server. We will monitor your disk space, memory usage, cpu usage, connectivity, processes, and other vital statistics. If you do not wish to have your system monitored then please select the following option.
